The role requires telecommunications experience, wireless access and backhaul capacity management expertise, network optimization knowledge, and proficiency with analytics and business intelligence tools.

Manage supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle, including onboarding, variations, negotiations, disputes, performance tracking, compliance, governance, and risk oversight. Partner with internal and external stakeholders, provide commercial insights, support strategic procurement initiatives, and use analytics to improve supplier performance and sustainable commercial value.

Leads network integration, augmentation, and migration across core and access networks. Improves deployment through automation, scripting, and AI; provides technical leadership and mentorship; develops deployment methodologies; troubleshoots complex issues; coordinates stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners; supports solution reviews, process optimisation, continuous improvement, and after-hours network deployments while minimizing customer impact.

Leads prioritization, governance, and delivery oversight for a portfolio of strategic initiatives supporting nbn’s Field Strategy and corporate objectives. Aligns senior stakeholders, establishes governance frameworks, manages risks and dependencies, monitors benefits and investment outcomes, and provides portfolio reporting and recommendations. Partners with delivery owners to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and supports executive communications focused on transformation, customer outcomes, and sustainable business value.

Leads end-to-end delivery of complex transformation initiatives across multiple business units. Responsibilities include project planning, requirements gathering, governance, risk and issue management, change management, reporting, stakeholder alignment, executive communications, and delivery of multiple workstreams within budget and timelines. The role drives operational improvements for Field Services and supports broader organisational transformation through cross-functional leadership and PMO-aligned delivery.

Leads nbn’s enterprise organisational development strategy across performance and culture. Shapes performance systems, leadership practices, employee experience, and cultural conditions that support high performance. Uses employee listening, workforce insights, benchmarks, and market intelligence to inform executive decisions. Provides governance and Board-level reporting on culture, engagement, performance, and reputation. Partners with senior leaders to drive sustainable change, strengthen organisational outcomes, and develop organisational development team capability.

Leads nbn’s enterprise leadership development portfolio, including roadmap, governance, frameworks, capability architecture, and scalable development experiences. Partners with executives to identify emerging capability needs and build leadership skills in digital leadership, AI adoption, innovation, transformation, change, and future workforce capability. Drives an inclusive leadership culture, behavior change, measurable organisational outcomes, and development pathways from emerging leaders through senior executives.
