OUR TEAM

Our Australia Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible to coordinate the financial accounting functions within our Ammunition (AM) business and to support the conduct, management and coordination of financial tasks, including overseeing the Accounts Payable Function.

Working at our Benalla site, on Pangerang and Yorta Yorta Land, your exciting new career opportunity will see you:

• Manage the Accounts Payable function for the AM business.

• Complete the AM Financial Statements on a monthly basis.

• Ensure all reconciliations of Balance Sheet Accounts are completed on a monthly basis.

• Prepare and maintaining and reconciliation of the FBT & BAS schedule in support of the Business Group’s activities.

• Coordinate the preparation of correspondence and documentation including Profit and Loss reporting to the business units.

• Complete Cashflow forecasts as required by Corporate for AM.

• Assist in the development, compilation and management of organisational budgets within AM.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Hold a Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree in Accounting, and preferably a member of professional accounting body (or working towards).

• Experience in the Finance function.

• Experience in continuously optimising business performance and processes.
