We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate and insightful financial and statutory reporting, strengthening financial controls, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

- Drive meaningful improvements in financial processes and systems

- Lead and mentor team members (one direct report) to enhance your leadership capabilities
- Contribute to high-profile reporting, including regulatory submissions and group financial statements

You’ll take ownership of core financial accounting and reporting activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across the group.
Key responsibilities include:
Financial & Statutory Reporting
- Deliver timely and accurate statutory and regulatory reporting (including APRA & ABS)
- Prepare and review financial statements in line with accounting standards
- Provide insightful analysis and commentary to support internal reporting, investor materials, and strategic initiatives
- Support dividend calculations and Board reporting processes
- Partner with FP&A and commercial teams on technical accounting matters
Month-End & Financial Control
- Lead month-end close processes and group reconciliations
- Ensure balance sheet integrity through robust reconciliation and review practices
- Maintain strong governance and compliance with internal policies
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance reporting processes
- Drive continuous improvement across financial control frameworks
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and support team members to build capabilities in the team
- Collaborate across finance and the broader business on key initiatives and projects
To be considered for this role you will have:
You’re a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys improving the way things are done.
- CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting expertise (IFRS and regulatory reporting such as APRA will be advantageous)
- Proven experience in financial reporting, controls, and month-end processes
- Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- A track record of process improvement and driving efficiencies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
- A passion for mentoring and developing others
