Where the team fits in 

The Senior Marketing Manager role sits within the Consumer Marketing team, who are focused on driving marketing outcomes for the realestate.com.au, realcommercial.com.au and Mortgage Choice brands. The team sits within Audience & Marketing, which forms part of the Consumer & Customer group led by Kul Singh.

Reporting into the Head of Brand Marketing, you will deliver the brand and audience strategy across our consumer brands including realestate.com.au, realcommercial.com.au and Mortgage Choice. The responsibilities of the role include:
 

  • Help create the brand and campaign strategy across REA Group consumer brands, driving end-to-end planning and delivery from briefing through to execution, optimisation and post-campaign analysis.
  • Be the key point of contact for Consumer Product, maintaining strong working relationships with product teams to ensure all new product value is supported by robust consumer GTM planning and execution.
  • Drive and support the creative development process across consumer brands, partnering with external creative agency partners and internal design function to deliver creatively excellent, on brand work - consistently measuring creative effectiveness and applying learnings.
  • Act as the brand marketing lead for Mortgage Choice, partnering with our Franchise Marketing team to ensure brand consistency across the franchise groups and ensuring alignment with the Financial Services LoB more broadly.
  • Partner closely with Digital Marketing, Lifecycle and Customer Marketing teams to ensure alignment and shared visibility across key initiatives, delivering effective integrated marketing activity through the funnel.
  • Accountable for tracking marketing budgets, campaign timelines, media planning and agency relationships to ensure work is best in class.
  • Drive the marketing research and insights programs, covering brand tracking, campaign measurement, creative testing and Market Mix Modelling (MMM) to guide investment and creative decisions.
  • Lead sponsorship planning and activation, including maintaining strong relationships and communication with our partner organisations to deliver leading brand activations in sponsorship environments.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for that special spark! People with passion and values that mirror our own.

  • A strong consumer brand and product marketing background, with demonstrated experience working alongside product and digital teams
  • Proven experience managing multi-million dollar media budgets, with strong financial and commercial acumen
  • 10 years+ in marketing, with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Commerce or other appropriate discipline (or extensive commercial experience in a similar environment)
  • Prior experience leading a marketing team of two or more
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - proven ability to build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong analytical capabilities and numeracy skills, with the ability to translate data and consumer research into clear insights, recommendations and improvements.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environments, exhibiting creativity, initiative and problem-solving skills
