About the Role
The SM S&OP Transformation plays a critical role in leading projects focus on People, Processes & Systems to deliver Cost, Service, Productivity & Forecast Accuracy across the ANZ Zone through coordinating in collaboration with technical functional leads and peers. Ultimately creating a best-in-class S&OP & Logistics organisation which is aligned with the company's ambition in becoming the preferred supplier to our customers.
This senior supply chain position is responsible for driving and executing major projects and programs within the logistics functions, serving as a capability enabler and ensuring a multi-functional approach is adopted. The primary objective is to stimulate innovation and disrupt existing ways of working, thereby supporting the development of a future-ready supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-own the development and implementation of S&OP strategy, and results (Project Optimus $21M saving across 5 years) in collaboration with the S&OP LT
  • Actively engage with the business units to ensure the effective deployment of the S&OP strategy and monitoring of performance.
  • Own the change management and adoption, partnering with functional leads.
  • Gather relevant information and data to support the formulation of Strategic Plans.
  • Provide support for Champions projects and facilitate discussions among the zones to identify the most impactful levers and ideas to reach productivity targets.
  • Take ownership of the S&OP KPI dashboard, analyzing and presenting the main structural causes behind the performance results.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in tracking and reporting on logistics performance.
  • Conduct benchmarks, both internally and externally, to compare performance and identify best practices.
  • Prepare and implementing plaints to maintain stock levels in line with minimising costs as per project Optimise savings initiative
  • Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and learnings between zones to drive continuous improvement.
  • Negotiation of contracts with key suppliers to optimise cost savings and best practice
  • Drive the standardization of sustainable processes and tools across zones, leveraging Log.os.
  • Streamline and harmonize S&OP operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage S&OP CAPEX projects across ANZ Zone; this includes: Design, Plan, Implement & Change management all within defined timelines & budget to deliver on program ambitions.


About You

  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles, S&OP logistics processes, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in data analysis and the use of relevant tools and software to gather and interpret performance metrics.
  • Experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading and executing projects.
  • Familiarity with benchmarking methodologies and the ability to apply insights to improve S&OP & logistics performance.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles and the ability to integrate them into S&OP & logistics processes and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to network and influence senior leaders across the organization through understanding and simplifying complicated concepts.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
