The role

 

You will partner with Investments and Strategy senior management to deliver actionable financial insights that enable decision-making and optimal business performance. You will advise senior stakeholders, influence outcomes and drive continuous improvement through analysis, modelling and commercial insight.

 

 

Investments is responsible for investing and managing portfolios across Australian and International Equities, Fixed Interest & Cash, Property, Infrastructure and Private Markets, as well as Asset Allocation and Portfolio Analysis & Implementation.

 

 

Strategy is responsible for setting and leading the execution of UniSuper’s long term direction and prioritising strategic investment and transformation programs.

 

 

  • Partner with senior management to deliver commercial insight, financial expertise and analysis
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting across the Investments and Strategy business units
  • Deliver complex financial models, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
  • Recommend strategic initiatives and valuations through financial analysis
  • Advise executive leadership through complex analysis and recommendations
  • Influence senior stakeholders as a trusted financial adviser and business partner

 

 

 

About you

 

You bring proven finance business partnering experience and advanced financial modelling capability, with the judgement to influence senior stakeholders through clear, evidence-based insights. You enjoy solving complex problems, improving outcomes and partnering across the business to deliver high-quality work.

 

  • CA or CPA qualification and an accounting or business degree
  • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Proven finance business partnering experience
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Investments and superannuation strategy knowledge is beneficial
