As a Risk Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our Risk Culture through conversation and reinforcing established Policies and Frameworks across our retail energy brand, Red Energy. Working within the Governance, Risk & Compliance team, you will work across the business and serve as a trusted advisor to help identify, analyse, and mitigate current and emerging risks. This is an active, engagement focused role where you will drive risk workshops, provide critical strategic, operational and project advisory support, and facilitate incident investigations across the organisation. 

You will play your part in championing our Risk & Resilience Frameworks contributing directly to uplifting the risk culture enterprise wide

This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

About you: 
  • 5+ years of demonstrated Risk Management experience. Energy sector expertise is preferred but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops, deliver clear messages, and build strong relationships across all levels of the business
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment, multiple systems, and the ability to make sense of complex or conflicting information to solve problems.
  • A collaborative mindset to work seamlessly within the Governance, Risk and Compliance function and partner effectively with 'Line 1' risk managers to share best practices.
