About the Role

YETI is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Planner to support demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and performance across assigned channels and markets. This role is responsible for ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time, leveraging data, insights, and cross-functional inputs to drive channel performance and support continued growth. 

You will provide channel-specific insights, manage stock positioning, and identify opportunities to improve sell-through, stock-turn, and overall commercial outcomes. 

This role is highly collaborative, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Global teams to align forecasts, support go-to-market execution, and deliver an elevated customer experience across all channels. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Own the development, maintenance, and submission of monthly demand plans for assigned channels

  • Partner with key stakeholders to build detailed and accurate forecasts, optimising sales and inventory

  • Analyse historical sales, market trends, and forward-looking strategies to build accurate forecasts

  • Support in-season and post-season reviews, providing insights and recommendations

  • Facilitate GTM planning and channel staregy execution, ensuring alignment to business objectives

  • Identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to improve forecast accuracy

  • Create and maintain reporting that supports data-driven decision making

  • Support range reviews by delivering data-driven insights to inform product and commercial decisions

  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Global teams to ensure alignment 

  • Support execution of product launches, campaigns, and key commercial initiatives 

  • Build strong relationships to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely delivery of outcomes 

  • Analyse and validate stock replenishment and partner with local and global teams to optimise stock levels

 

What You Bring 

  • Greater than 5 years of experience in merchandise planning, demand planning, or similar role (retail, FMCG, or multi-channel environment) 

  • Bachelor's preferred or equivalent experience

  • Advanced Excel capability; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred 

  • Exposure to planning systems (e.g., IBP) advantageous 

  • Applies functional expertise to execute planning processes with minimal supervision 

  • Owns a defined category or scope with clear accountability for results 

  • Translates business direction into operational plans and day-to-day execution 

  • Contributes insights and recommendations but is not accountable for setting overall strategy 

  • Demonstrates strong collaboration and growing influence across teams 

  • Highly analytical with strong commercial judgement 

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to connect data to business outcomes 

  • Proactive in identifying opportunities and solving problems 

  • Strong communicator who can influence without authority 

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and energized by a fast-paced environment
