🎯 What’s the role?

As Marketing Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of our marketing engine owning content creation, running our website, improving conversion flows, and managing CRM programs (with HubSpot and AI tools to help). You’ll work closely with our Sales, Product, and Customer teams to tell stories that attract new prospects and deepen engagement with existing clients.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to our CEO, ideal for someone who’s equal parts creative and analytical. You’ll write blogs, craft case studies, manage SEO, launch campaigns, support events, and deliver results.

✅ You’re a great fit if you…
  • Have 3–5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in SaaS or retail tech

  • Love writing and are comfortable using AI tools to speed things up

  • Know your way around HubSpot, CMS platforms, and digital lead funnels

First 3 months

  • Start writing content—blogs, newsletters, whitepapers, etc.

  • Get to know our CRM, website, and lead capture flows

  • Analyze current performance and suggest early improvements

  • Support sales and field marketing programs

6–12 months

  • Own the Lexer website and content calendar

  • Launch new case studies and persona-driven content

  • Improve MQL conversion and funnel performance

  • Help plan and run customer marketing and events

  • Recommend new tools, automations, or creative approaches

This role is based in Melbourne or Sydney (we work hybrid—min. 3 days in the office).

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
