Job Description

Join Mondiale VGL and take ownership of a portfolio where your expertise in freight forwarding and supply chain solutions truly makes an impact. This is a high‑visibility role suited to a commercially savvy operator who thrives on building trusted client partnerships and delivering smart, end‑to‑end logistics outcomes.

At Mondiale, you will go beyond traditional account management. You’ll act as a strategic advisor to your clients—leveraging deep market intelligence, operational expertise, and supply chain insight to drive performance, unlock value, and support long-term growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring service excellence, retention, and profitability
  • Build strong, multi-level client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
  • Lead proactive account management, including regular reviews, reporting, and QBRs
  • Translate global market trends, disruptions, and opportunities into actionable client strategies
  • Oversee onboarding, SOPs, and ongoing optimisation of client supply chains
  • Monitor financial performance, margins, and commercial outcomes at both shipment and account level
  • Resolve escalations, manage exceptions, and ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery
  • Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and global teams to deliver consistent outcomes

 

    Qualifications

    What you’ll bring:

    • 4+ years with strong end-to-end freight forwarding expertise across multimodal movements
    • Deep understanding of PO management, supply chain flows, and operational best practice
    • Strong industry knowledge, including supply chain processes, Incoterms, Australian Customs, and current market trends.
    • Commercial acumen with experience managing margins, P&L, and pricing strategies
    • Confidence navigating complex logistics scenarios, customs, and compliance requirements
    • Ability to interpret market intelligence and provide strategic advice to clients
    • Advanced systems knowledge, including freight platforms, reporting, and visibility tools
    • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership
