About the Role

The role of Key Account Manager – AU Independents is responsible for the end-to-end management of a designated portfolio of customer accounts.

The successful candidate will develop and execute commercial plans that drive sustainable sales growth, strengthen strategic relationships and build brand presence across key banner groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the promotional planning process and ongoing programme management with both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing and Field teams to maximise in-store execution and brand exposure.
  • Conduct analysis of promotional outcomes, including time in stores with field team to measure executional performance and identify areas of further opportunity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders/customers to ensure strong account performance.
  • Manage forecasts to ensure internal and customer service metrics are delivered, including but not limited to IBSL, OBSL, and working capital.
  • Manage monthly administration cycle of reporting, analysis & processing of trade investment.

About You

  • Proven experience managing customer accounts from end to end.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships while delivering commercial outcomes.
  • Proactive and self-driven, with the confidence to take ownership, solve problems and deliver results.
  • Established relationships across key customers and industry stakeholders are highly desirable.
  • Advanced organisation and time management skills
  • A valid driver's license
  • A recognised qualification in business or marketing or related field is preferred
