About the Role
At Toll Group, we do more than move businesses. We move the communities that depend on them. As a Contract Administrator within our Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) team, you will play a critical role in supporting contract governance, compliance and administration activities across a high-profile Defence portfolio. Working closely with commercial, operational and functional teams, you will help ensure contractual obligations, reporting requirements and governance activities are delivered accurately and on time. A Day in the Life of a Contract Administrator at Toll Group
- Maintain contract registers, databases, trackers and document repositories.
- Monitor contractual obligations, milestones, reporting requirements and review dates.
- Coordinate governance meetings, agendas, minutes and action registers.
- Prepare contract administration reports, governance packs and dashboard inputs.
- Support contract variations, approvals, customer submissions and document control activities.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, procurement, legal and commercial stakeholders to support compliant contract delivery.
Qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Procurement, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Exposure to contract administration or project coordination activities.
- Experience in Defence, Government or regulated environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Commonwealth contracting requirements is highly regarded.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
- Eligibility to obtain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance and NV1
Skills & Experience
- Up to 3 years' experience in contract administration, commercial administration, project administration or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail with experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
