First Table is a restaurant discovery platform that incentivises diners to book tables at participating restaurants during off-peak hours. Diners book early-dinner 'first tables' with about 50% off the food bill and pay a small booking fee to First Table, while restaurants list offers for free. Started in Queenstown, New Zealand, in 2014 by Mat Weir, it also offers Regular Table bookings and operates across several countries.
