Operations Lead – Value Added Services – Eagle Farm, QLD

About the role and opportunity –

We are now seeking an Operations Lead – Value Added Services to join our ANZ team and play a key role in delivering high-quality warehouse and value-added services (VAS) operations.

The Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient execution of inbound, outbound, inventory, and value-added services.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving operational performance, service delivery, and team leadership while maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring compliance, and contributing to profitability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities and duties, but not limited to –

  • Lead daily warehouse and VAS operations across inbound, outbound, dispatch, and inventory activities.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.

  • Coordinate effectively with transport, warehouse, and customer service teams to deliver seamless operations.

  • Monitor workflow, allocate resources, and track performance against key KPIs DIFOT, productivity, accuracy.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through stocktakes and ensure all WMS transactions are completed correctly and on time.

  • Support cost control by managing labour and ensuring accurate capture of billable activities (storage, handling, VAS).

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and performance.

  • Lead, coach, and support team members while reinforcing safety standards, SOP compliance, and a high-performance culture.

About You -

You are an experienced logistics professional with a strong operational mindset and a passion for leading teams in fast-paced environments.

What you will bring to succeed:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in warehouse, 3PL, Global Forwarding or logistics operations.

  • Proven experience supervising or leading teams.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and VAS processes.

  • Experience with WMS systems (e.g., CargoWise a must).

  • Solid knowledge of WHS, compliance, and safe work practices.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on service excellence.
