As our next Tooling & GSE Coordinator, you will mainly be responsible for the coordination of aircraft tooling and GSE within the Jetstar network and ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements, safety standards, and Jetstar maintenance operations policies and procedures. You will ensure that tooling is 100% compliant 100% of the time. You will work off an inventory system (TRAX) by correctly reflecting and updating tooling status.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform daily functions in a safe manner whilst adhering to company policies and procedures
- Coordinate tooling and GSE supply for external and internal requirement
- Assist the Engineering department in maintaining compliance and control with tooling & GSE in the Jetstar network
- Assist with inspection of incoming aircraft tooling in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and Jetstar requirements.
- Interpret technical data, certificates and vendor paperwork and research and retrieve technical data as necessary
- Enter data into Jetstar Engineering inventory system in a timely manner whilst following company procedures
- Identifies and separates non-compliant items for further disposition
- Provide support to other parts of the Tooling & GSE and Supply & Logistics department as well as other Jetstar Group companies
We are on the hunt for someone who has experience, qualifications and attributes including:
- High level of proficiency with Trax - Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Maintenance Inventory Systems (MIS), or Procurement Systems is an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders effectively
- Experience within aviation engineering environment highly regarded
- A Diploma level qualification in an Electrical/ Mechanical/ Avionics / Electronics/ Process Engineering or a minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (highly desired)
- Current Driving License
- Hold or able to obtain an airside drivers licence
- Able to undertake ASIC clearance
- A high level of computer competency
- Self-starter and team orientated
