The role:

As a Technical Analyst, you'll support the availability and stability of the technology environment at Crown Melbourne. You’ll respond to incidents, monitor system health, and troubleshoot issues across networks, applications, servers, mobile devices and customer‑facing systems.

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of technical capability, strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, operational environment and enjoys problem‑solving, teamwork and delivering excellent service.

You'll be:

  • Providing frontline technical support and monitoring across Crown Melbourne’s IT Infrastructure

  • Troubleshooting and escalating issues across networks, Wi‑Fi, servers, storage, VMware, Active Directory/Entra ID configuration, mobile devices and customer‑facing technologies.

  • Managing incident, problem and change records accurately, including participation in Priority 1 and 2 incident response where required.

  • Own and maintain runbooks/SOPs for recurring issues and contribute updates to L2 documentation based on escalation trends.

  • Hands-on to support IT Operations across daily tasks whenever required, in line with one-team motive.

  • Maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams, completing detailed shift handovers and keeping operational documentation updated.

  • Supporting system changes and upgrades by following strict change control processes and contributing to project‑related activities.

  • Develop and maintain up to date documentation for support procedures and technical requirements for infrastructure.

  • Building strong working relationships with IT teams, business stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.

You'll bring:

  • Experience with Windows systems, Aruba/Cisco Switches, VMWare Infrastructure, Checkpoint/Palo Alto Firewall

  • Solid background in network routing and switching, with practical experience managing BGP environments.

  • Experience working within structured IT environments and ITIL frameworks (ITIL Foundation preferred).

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology

  • Comfortable being available for after hours and weekend support for critical incidents

  • CCNP Certification would be highly regarded

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and solutions‑focused under pressure
