We harness the power of product, engineering and customer-centric design to build high-quality, elegant solutions that we are proud of and our customers love to use.

We are made up of a bunch of curious technologists bringing a fresh perspective to modernising the logistics industry. We thrive on solving the hardest problems, and this is reflected in our culture, which encourages us to create, experiment and collaborate with our customers.

As an established, profitable and growing company, we take our responsibilities to our customers seriously as we continue to build upon our data-driven platform to create a new ecosystem of integrated logistics.

We work flexibly with 3 days a week remote and 2 days working in our offices.

RequirementsRole mission

To serve as the strategic bridge between our customers' business needs and Flip’s ecosystem, orchestrating the seamless delivery of integration projects that unlock long-term value and operational excellence.

Core purpose

You will lead the end-to-end integration journey; from initial requirements gathering to final project delivery. You are not the one writing the code, but you focus on translating complex business workflows into clear technical requirements, managing project timelines with precision, and ensuring that both internal stakeholders and external partners are aligned and informed at every step.

Competencies
  • Strategic business analyst: You have a knack for digging deep into customer workflows. You ask the right questions to uncover true business needs and translate them into actionable requirements that technical teams can execute upon.
  • Project orchestrator: You lead with a sense of ownership. You can juggle multiple integration workstreams, manage timelines, and keep projects on track without losing sight of the details or the deadline.
  • Master communicator: You are a translator between "Business" and "Tech." You can present complex ideas simply to stakeholders and discuss technical logic with engineers, ensuring everyone is moving in the same direction across different functions and cultures.
  • Customer-centric partner: You focus on understanding and exceeding customer expectations. You don't just deliver a connection; you deliver a solution that helps the customer grow, fostering a lasting partnership with Flip and efm.
  • Proactive problem solver: You don't wait for a bottleneck to happen. You anticipate risks throughout the project lifecycle and take the initiative to resolve blockers before they impact delivery or the customer experience.
  • Team bridge: You act as a connector rather than a gatekeeper. You facilitate collaboration between customers, product, and engineering teams, ensuring knowledge is shared and silos are broken down.
  • Analytical toolkit: A strong mindset for data-driven decision-making and identifying patterns in complex systems.
  • Integration builder: You map out how data moves from point A to point B. You aren't afraid to get hands-on, using custom scripts and tools like Postman to shape data payloads and build robust connections.
  • Technical analyst: You dig into the details to keep platforms running smoothly. You leverage SQL to extract actionable data, rigorously testing and troubleshooting deployments to squash integration errors quickly.
Additional skills

These skills will be held in high regard:

  • Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You comfortably navigate complex workflows and competing priorities while bringing a fresh perspective to the logistics industry.
  • Team focus: You genuinely care for your peers and actively help them succeed. You build trusted, collaborative relationships across departments and are fully committed to uplifting the broader team.
  • Growth mindset: You are highly coachable and hungry to learn. You maintain a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, welcome feedback openly, and have the agility to continuously adapt your approach.
  • Knowledge sharing: You habitually document your work to empower those around you. You create clear resources and runbooks, ensuring your internal team learns continuously and customers remain seamlessly supported.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
