We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and managing sophisticated data solutions in a large and complex environment. You will leverage your expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and SQL to drive data transformation and optimization efforts, ensuring alignment with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Build and manage data warehousing solutions to support business analytics and reporting.
- Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
- Utilize Python for data processing and automation tasks.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Engage with clients to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues while ensuring data integrity and security.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and cloud computing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and SQL.
- Proven experience in data warehousing and managing complex data architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex data issues.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in client engagement.
- Experience working in large, complex environments with a focus on data integration and management.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and Azure services.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in the banking or financial services space
