We are seeking a collaborative, strategic, and deeply creative Social Media Coordinator. In this role, you will deliver exceptional community experiences, drive cutting-edge engagement strategies, and support end to end content production and publishing across all of our social platforms.
Main Activities & Responsibilities:
Social Media Management & Publishing : Manage and execute the content calendar. Optimise content for platform algorithms, jump on real time memes/trends, and use Sprout Social for social listening and competitor analysis.
Content Production Support : Edit and optimise visual assets. You’ll use Canva for quick edits, Adobe Creative Suite for advanced design, and CapCut/mobile tools for trending video formats, adapting global trends to local humour.
Community Management : Own day to day engagement across all social media platforms. Build relationships with brand advocates, monitor brand sentiment, and partner with Customer Service for seamless issue resolution.
Analytics, Insights & Reporting : Generate comprehensive reports via Sprout Social, track community health metrics, and present monthly performance reviews with actionable recommendations.
Key Skills & Capabilities:
Proven success in social media and community management, with a track record of improving engagement metrics and managing brand reputation.
Advanced knowledge of Sprout Social (publishing, custom reporting, and social listening).
High proficiency in Canva, intermediate skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro), and experience with mobile editing tools (CapCut).
A deep understanding of the Australian retail landscape, lifestyle, trends, and communities.
Strong grasp of changing social media algorithms, best practices, and review/reputation management platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
