About the Team

As a member of our diverse and skilled ANZ Solution Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed. Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team also sits at the exciting intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financials Solution Consultant for our ANZ team! Our team demonstrates the value of next generation SaaS Financial Management Applications and Artificial Intelligence Agents to Workday prospects and customers. Through interactive pre-sales discovery meetings, and by leveraging deep Financial Accounting skills and complex Enterprise Software product knowledge, Workday Solution Consultants provide Financials expertise, Executive presentations, and Workday Financials product demonstrations, in partnership with our sales team, to customers throughout the sales cycle. Our team works in a highly complex environment that requires curiosity, flexibility, and drive.  Workday is looking for a Solution Consultant with Financials & ERP expertise to join ANZ Solution Consultant team working across medium and larger enterprise customers. 

About You

Basic Qualifications

• Experience across finance and accounting domains, including  GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Multi-Company and Consolidations, Multi-Currency
• 5+ years of functional, implementation, consulting, or presales experience with Financial Management or ERP solutions.
• Strong understanding of additional Finance-related functions such as Procurement, Project Costing is beneficial
• Proven experience engaging with enterprise finance stakeholders, including Controllers, CFOs, and Finance Transformation leaders.
• Exposure to Financial Management solutions from Workday, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft or similar would be an advantage
• Experience in engagements with enterprises in Australia and New Zealand across one or more of the following industries - FSI, Higher Education, Healthcare, Government and Public Services, Retail, Professional Services etc.

• You are a credible, dynamic finance transformation expert, ready to help organizations sell and operate the future of finance today.
• An outstanding and confident presenter with strong communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging and persuading CFOs, Finance VPs, Controllers, and senior IT leaders.
• Extensive experience in the finance and ERP technology space, with deep knowledge of Financial Management, ERP, EPM, and analytics platforms, and how they are applied to modernize finance operations.
• Strong passion for AI, machine learning, automation, and agentic AI, with a clear point of view on how these technologies are transforming finance processes, insights, and decision-making.
• Genuinely excited about Workday Financial Management and motivated to represent Workday’s next-generation AI-powered finance capabilities to the market.
• Deep understanding of the finance operating model, enabling you to speak fluently with the Office of the CFO about governance, controls, efficiency, agility, and business outcomes—not just system features.
• Proven ability to map customer-specific finance challenges directly to technology and AI driven solutions, articulating value in terms of faster close, improved visibility, stronger compliance, and reduced manual effort—rather than simply listing product functionality.
