You will work closely with various internal stakeholders and third‑party providers to deliver high‑quality Salesforce solutions and operate as a solutions-focused engineer, not just a developer. As Salesforce is a critical platform for managing our student experience at OES, this role plays a key part in enabling teams to deliver exceptional service and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ongoing Salesforce enhancements and custom development
- Provide Salesforce administration and platform support
- Identify, implement and optimise Salesforce workflows and processes
- Investigate and resolve data issues, addressing root causes
- Liaise with third‑party development partners
- Conduct functionality walkthroughs and knowledge sharing for new and existing staff
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform
About you:
- You’re a hands‑on Senior Developer who enjoys working autonomously while collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders. You’re comfortable translating technical solutions into business outcomes and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- 4–6 years’ experience in the CRM domain, with 3+ years in Salesforce implementations
- Strong experience across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience (Community) Cloud
- Advanced skills in Apex (classes, triggers, test methods), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, SOQL and SOSL
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Hands‑on integration experience using REST APIs and OAuth
- Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, governor limits and security
- Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II highly regarded)
