You’ll identify critical-path risks, coordinate key stakeholders and support delivery within agreed time, cost, quality and operational requirements—from concept through to handover.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain integrated, logic-linked project programmes covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.

  • Establish programme baselines, milestones, dependencies and critical paths, providing look-ahead reporting and early visibility of delivery risks.

  • Analyse contractor and consultant programmes, challenge sequencing and assumptions, and recommend practical mitigation, recovery or acceleration strategies.

  • Support the delivery of multiple capital, infrastructure and fit-out projects within approved time, cost, quality and operational requirements.

  • Coordinate with project sponsors, business units, consultants, contractors and suppliers to resolve programme interfaces and maintain alignment throughout delivery.

  • Provide clear programme reporting to stakeholders and senior leaders, while maintaining oversight of site activities, FF&E, safety requirements and operational impacts through to handover.

What You’ll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is desirable.

  • At least 10 years’ construction and project delivery experience, including large-scale capital projects and fit-out works.

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, with the ability to build, maintain and interrogate complex, logic-linked programmes.

  • Strong expertise in critical-path analysis, construction sequencing, progress measurement, programme forecasting and recovery planning.

  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects and reviewing programmes from Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders, consultants and specialist contractors.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complex programme information for varied audiences and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
