About the role   
  

We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Communications to drive strategic development, implementation, and optimization of customer communications across delivery & design, content, and customer lifecycle. You will also support newsletters, incidents, account health, education initiatives, and improving toll notices, statements, invoices, and other documents.

You’ll join a team that that is responsible for managing and optimising the processing and delivery of critical business communications.

As our Senior Manager, Communications, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work. 

Day-to-day, you will:   

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies

  • Analyse communication efforts and adjust strategies based on data insights

  • Develop and maintain communication policies and procedures

  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve communication effectiveness

  • Create, deliver and uplift new communications activities

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:   

  • At least 10 years’ experience in communications-related roles

  • At least 5 years experience in people management

  • Experience in designing and executing strategic communications roadmaps

  • Experience managing third-party relationships, including contract negotiation

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders

  • Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms, including document composition, marketing automation platforms, archiving, reporting and reconciliation
