The opportunity
Provide input into business decisions through the data analysis of trends and business opportunities using both standard and specialised models/systems.
Your new role:
Working closely with the Manager, Operations and Data Insights, you will be a key member of the team liaising with businesses to identify key metrics and develop reports or business models to monitor trends on a regular basis.
You will:
- Engage with key stakeholders across the business and act as a trusted advisor to provide insights and ideas for improvement
- Deliver timely and accurate data through models, reports, analysing and communicating results, responding to complex business issues and providing best practice solutions to assist with company direction and decision-making
- Analyse data extracted from multiple systems in comparison to prior months or years and our competitors
- Support team members to derive trends, conclusions and recommendations based on data and analysis
About you:
You will be a seasoned business analyst who can drive business improvements through data driven insights and process optimisation. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyse workflows, and support strategic decision-making. Have a good understanding and able to leverage various technical tools to streamline operations and enhance business performance.
You will have:
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and strong communication skills
- Proven experience as a business or data analyst professional
- General insurance knowledge
- SAS database, SQL and Data warehouse knowledge preferred
- You are a confident, driven and possess initiative who is comfortable engaging with leadership You are customer-centric and have a passion for opportunities to modernise and automate
