As the Senior Business Analyst, you will support delivery of projects and lead the coordination of software and system changes in the Commercial & Customer Systems Technology team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support delivery of software changes and releases. Prepare delivery and implementation plans for projects and initiatives. Coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors as per delivery plan.
- Support delivery of major projects. Provide business analysis support and consulting advice throughout the duration of the project. Manage application configurations as part of delivery.
- Deliver BA outcomes in accordance with agreed governance standards, delivery methodologies, work practices, systems and tools. Apply best practice BA methodologies to support delivery of implementation projects and system changes.
- Facilitate meetings with internal/external stakeholders to communicate updates and drive project outcomes. Appropriately escalate to senior management issues impacting delivery of application changes.
- Transition projects and system changes to operational teams using agreed handover process. Include quality documentation.
- Work with stakeholder groups to obtain engagement feedback to measure project / program effectiveness
- Review and validate high-level processes, systems, and reporting to ensure full coverage of requirements. Conduct gap analysis between current processes and future state processes.
- Participate in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions.
What You Will Bring:
- Tertiary qualification in business / Information Technology
- PMP or Prince2 certification and Lean Six Sigma would be desirable but not essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Business/Systems Analyst (preferably in the Technology field)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Delivery or Implementation role (preferably in the Technology field)
- Experience working on and delivering successful outcomes in large-scale IT project initiatives.
- Aviation and travel industry is preferred
- Experience with working within a dynamic and fast paced team environment
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
