Business Overview

Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Product Strategy & Innovation, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications.

It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media.

The Role

The Senior Associate, Product Development & Management will support the design, delivery, and management of client-centric funds, partnerships, and solutions aligned with IFM’s commercial strategy. 

This includes meeting the complex and evolving investment needs of APAC clients and ensuring product activity aligns with market conditions, regulatory standards, and IFM's operating model. You will lead and drive the design and delivery of product initiatives within agreed timelines and budgets, ensuring they meet client needs, comply with regulations, mitigate operational and legal risks, and remain aligned with corporate strategy.

You will use your expertise to influence stakeholders, solve problems, and drive change across the APAC and broader global product operating model by building strong working relationships with key stakeholders and teams to overcome barriers and deliver successful project outcomes. 

Your Background and Experience

• 7+ years of experience in investment banking, asset management, consulting, law or wealth management

• Demonstratable experience in private assets and private markets across Australia and the broader global fund management industry and financial centres 

• Understanding of the principles relating to the delivery of administrative services, e.g. confidentiality, protocols etc.

• Strong organisational skills

• Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills

• Desire to work in a team environment.
