Profile Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in lead generation, appointment setting, inside sales, or business development.
  • Proven success generating outbound appointments through cold calling and proactive prospecting.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, lead management systems, and sales automation tools.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a professional, confident, and persuasive phone presence.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple outreach campaigns, and consistently achieve appointment-setting goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accurate data management.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in residential solar, renewable energy, home improvement, roofing, energy efficiency, or related industries.
  • Experience generating leads across multiple markets or states.
  • Familiarity with digital lead generation channels including email outreach, social media prospecting, online lead sourcing, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience building lead generation processes from the ground up rather than simply working pre-existing leads.
  • Understanding of homeowner qualification criteria, residential sales cycles, and consultative appointment setting.
  • Exposure to commercial or B2B lead generation is a plus.

  • Consistently generate qualified residential solar appointments for the sales team.
  • Maintain high lead quality standards that result in strong appointment-to-sale conversion rates.
  • Contribute to the development of a scalable lead generation system capable of supporting 20+ sales closers across Arizona, Nevada, and Texas.
  • Reduce lead acquisition costs while improving appointment quality and sales opportunities.
  • Provide accurate reporting on outreach activities, appointment metrics, and pipeline performance.
  • Support future expansion into commercial solar lead generation initiatives.

Core responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified residential solar leads through a combination of digital outreach, prospecting campaigns, database research, and direct cold-calling efforts.
  • Conduct outbound calls to homeowners to identify interest, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for the solar sales team.
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies designed to improve appointment quality while reducing acquisition costs.
  • Build and maintain prospect databases, ensuring accurate lead tracking, follow-up scheduling, and CRM management.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to refine lead qualification criteria and optimize conversion rates from lead to appointment.
  • Monitor campaign performance, appointment outcomes, and lead quality metrics to continuously improve results and scalability.
