🔷ABOUT THE ROLE
Working as part of a team and being the face of our organisation, we are seeking a Full Time - Fixed Term Medical Receptionist to work across our Ballarat sites (SJOG Hospital & Wendouree) as the face of our organisation, as you deliver on the highest standards of services to our patients, referrers and community.
Reporting to the Clerical Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Representing Lake Imaging as the first impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk.
  • Answering the telephone and respond to patient enquiries in an efficient and sensitive manner
  • Make a patient bookings while maximising appointment slots
  • Informing patients of relevant preparation, costing estimates, and requirement to present relevant concession cards.
  • Actioning patient referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of fellow Receptionists, Booking Centre Agents, Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.

💎ABOUT YOU

  • Previous medical receptionist experience desired not essential!
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to show patients care, compassion and empathy
  • Excellent time management skills in order to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Excellent keyboard skills for data entry into RIS system
  • EFTPOS and cash handling skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
