Reporting to Head of Digital Products and Applications, the Quality Lead is responsible for the driving and delivery of quality assurance across AMS’s suite of digital platforms, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and custom applications.
This role will design and embed QA frameworks, ensure effective test coverage and drive quality throughout the SDLC at AMS. The QA Lead will manage QA processes for both project delivery and ongoing platform optimisation, ensuring AMS delivers high-quality, reliable digital products that scale across customer segments and end users.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage test strategies, plans, and scripts across platforms.
- Coordinate and execute system, integration, regression, and performance testing across strategic initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate coverage across functional, non-functional, and cross-platform testing.
- Manage test data, environments and release readiness.
Driving and Delivery of QA in the organisation
- Establish and own the QA strategy, framework, and best practices across all delivery streams.
- Define and implement test processes aligned to AMS’s delivery model.
- Champion quality throughout the SDLC, embedding QA from backlog refinement through to deployment.
- Introduce and maintain test automation where appropriate.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Stakeholders, Delivery Lead and Developers to ensure clear acceptance criteria and testability.
- Partner with business stakeholders to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with the platform and functional leads to align QA with solution design and integration standards.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Define quality metrics and report regularly to leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with AMS’s security, privacy, and regulatory obligations.
-Mentor and upskill delivery teams on QA best practices.
About you
- Proven experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA Engineer with proven experience in complex, multi-application environments.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experienced testing in Salesforce and, if possible, NetSuite, D365 and integrated systems or similar enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data validation.
- Experience introducing test automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage QA across multiple concurrent delivery streams.
