About the Project
The Southern Program Alliance is contracted by Victorian Government to remove most dangerous and congested level crossings. This is a critical infrastructure project with significant public impact.

The Opportunity
The Quality Coordinator is responsible to implement, maintain and improve the quality systems and controls to successfully deliver the project in alignment with the quality and completion requirements of the client and stakeholders.
The Quality Coordinator will support in the development and implementation of quality control plans, conduct inspections and audits, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the project team to address quality issues ensuring all construction activities meet established quality standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of and review quality and completion documentation and records.
- Site inspection and verification of constructed works including the release of hold and witness points.
- Lead and promote the RIBCX and TeamBinder lot management module to ensure understanding, correct use and application.
- Implement an integrated and coordinated Defect Management System (DMS) to management timely defect rectification.
- Monitor quality and completion performance and act / report as appropriate.
- Liaise with the Client and Stakeholders when required to execute transition of the works.
- Liaise with functional areas when required to resolve quality issues and problems identified and perform system support activities.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or similar
- Ability to implement and maintain the project quality management system, ensuring all personnel possess a sound knowledge of the plans, processes and procedures
- 3 years’ experience post-graduation in a project-based Quality role undertaking similar duties
- Demonstrated experience preferably project-based within the rail or civil infrastructure environment
- Current Driver Licence
