Sitting on Charles Street at the intersection of Merri Pde and St Georges Rd, the Albion Charles has been a pillar in the Northcote community for years.

The Albion Charles is your traditional local pub, sports bar and gaming room. We pride ourselves on offering friendly service in a relaxed environment and you could take the reigns of this local gem.

This is the perfect venue for an experienced Senior Assistant Manager or Gaming Manager to take their first step into running their own venue!

A day in the life of a Publican:

• You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
• You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
• You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
• You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
• You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

You already know if this is for you. You’ve got the experience, the presence, and the pride it takes to own a pub like it’s been yours forever. You're not just running a venue - you're living the Publican life.

• Hold current industry RSA, RSG/RCG and Gaming Licence qualifications as per state requirements
