Contract Terms: Permanent, 38 hours per week

THE TEAM

Ticketmaster Music is a passionate team dedicated to supporting the needs of the world’s biggest touring artists (and their promoters, agents, and managers). Tasked with building Ticketmaster’s relationships with the Artist community, this entails being on the pulse of where the business is moving through discussion with major industry players, informing the Artist community of the latest developments within Ticketmaster, assisting with the operations of events, acting as a resource to help maximize ticket sales and awareness, driving incremental revenue throughout the tour cycle, and understanding Artist needs and how Ticketmaster can serve them with new Products and Services.

The Global Pricing team is an exciting and burgeoning department within Ticketmaster Music and is focused on generating incremental revenue for event organizers and ensuring we sell the right ticket, to the right fan, at the right price.

THE JOB

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of events across Australia and New Zealand, and delivering effective pricing strategies that maximise revenue opportunities and support client objectives. You will develop strong knowledge of Ticketmaster platforms, pricing tools and end-to-end pricing workflows, while building expertise in pricing principles, revenue management and industry best practices. Through ongoing analysis of sales trends and event performance, you will proactively implement pricing changes, provide actionable insights, and present commercially informed recommendations to clients. This position requires client-facing interaction to build client relationships, across Music, Sports, and Theatre. You will also collaborate with global teams, and support internal Ticketmaster teams through your pricing expertise.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Build expertise in pricing principles, revenue management strategies, and industry best practices.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the full pricing workflow, including initial event set up process, to support the effective delivery of pricing strategies.
  • Manage a portfolio of events and implement pricing changes through various internal tools
  • Identify trends in sales, and be proactive in making pricing adjustments
  • Present pricing recommendations and performance insights to clients, providing guidance to maximise revenue opportunities throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Provide analysis and actionable insights into sales trends and performance and make recommendations on future sales direction
  • Find opportunities for case studies to drive revenue and sales goals
  • Prepare monthly revenue insights and performance analysis for the wider business.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, developing a clear understanding of their objectives and providing responsive, commercially informed pricing support.
  • Provide dedicated service to clients, including venues, promoters, sporting clubs and producers, to deliver a positive client experience.
  • Provide pricing expertise and support to internal Ticketmaster teams such as Support and Operations, Marketing, Fan Support and Client Partnerships.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts through regular cross-market discussions to share best practices, align pricing strategies, and exchange insights on projects, pipelines, and performance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Strong analytical background with creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
  • 3-5 years work experience
  • Ticketing experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Must be able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently
  • Demonstrate capacity to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives
  • Strong research and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of the Ticketmaster Host system and event build process a plus
