We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Portfolio Performance Manager reporting to Executive Manager – Portfolio Governance & Reporting. This role is open for all locations in Australia

A bit about your role

As the Portfolio Performance Manager, you will be accountable for governing programs within the On-Demand Delivery portfolio, enabling their effective & successful execution. You will monitor, report and provide insights on portfolio performance against business targets and budgets, participate in framework and process development, whilst engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Your role includes ensuring accurate data representation, establishing metrics, monitoring performance trends and maintaining forecasts against program targets. You will also support and drive business improvement initiatives using BPE tools and produce high-quality reports for senior leaders.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in portfolio governance within large infrastructure organisations, with strong business acumen, data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. They should possess excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, and be self-driven and adaptable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Excel analytics is essential, along with skills in cost control, finance, commercial acumen, stakeholder influencing, and change management. The candidate should be compassionate, collaborative, purpose-driven, and committed to continuous improvement and alignment with nbn’s goals.
