We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join us initially on a 6 month fixed term contract, in the Office of the CEO.
This role will play a critical part in driving cross-functional strategic initiatives and supporting product launches. The ideal candidate will have experience with project management tools like Smartsheet and Jira, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of new product development processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Assist in managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination for product launches.
- Utilize Smartsheet, Jira, and other project management tools to track progress and maintain project documentation.
- Collaborate with teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution against company goals.
- Identify potential risks and work with relevant teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare status updates, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Facilitate meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-through on commitments.
Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in project management, product operations, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools like Smartsheet and Jira.
- Strong understanding of new product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience with or demonstrated curiosity in complex enterprise SaaS solutions, with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and navigate multiple product domains simultaneously.
- Experience working with multi-tenant or highly configurable software solutions is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to navigate ambiguity and drive execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
