About the role

Priority Life is seeking an experienced Partner to lead and grow its risk advice business. This role is responsible for managing advisers, clients and revenue, while driving business performance, strengthening referral relationships and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Lead Partner, you will play a key role in enhancing client and colleague experiences while protecting and expanding the existing insurance portfolio.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a team of Advisers, supporting performance, capability and business growth.

  • Protect and grow the existing insurance book while identifying and securing new business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referrers, clients and key industry stakeholders.  

  • Oversee insurance applications, underwriting activities, claims management and ongoing client servicing.

  • Support strategic decision-making alongside the Lead Partner and mentor the Operations Manager.

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Risk Adviser with demonstrated leadership capability.

  • Extensive knowledge of personal risk insurance, including Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection and Business Expense cover.

  • Strong experience managing insurance claims and client relationships.

  • Excellent relationship-building, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Passion for delivering successful client outcomes and experience working with medical professionals is highly regarded.
