About the Role
As a Paralegal, you will provide administrative and casework support to our legal team across a range of visa related matters. You will not communicate directly with clients, but will play a critical role in supporting the seamless business operation and timely delivery of legal services.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, reliable and process-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and takes pride in supporting the success of others. You will work under the supervision of Lawyers and Senior Lawyers, and contribute to meeting service level agreements (SLAs), accuracy standards, and risk protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare draft visa and related applications and checklists, and collate supporting documentation for review
Assist with compiling and formatting submissions (GTE, health waiver, character waiver etc.)
Conduct basic legal and policy research to support matter progression
Upload and organise client documentation within the case management system (e.g. Migration Manager)
Track key visa dates and assist with compliance tasks, such as VEVO checks and visa expiry monitoring
Complete template correspondence and internal reporting tasks
Maintain data accuracy in internal systems and ensure document naming/filing protocols are followed
Follow all internal escalation pathways for legal, technical, or documentation issues
Support quality assurance processes by following approved procedures and checklists
Uphold confidentiality and contribute to a culture of accuracy, ethics, and fairness
About You
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to follow structured processes and checklists with consistency
Strong written communication skills
Familiarity with legal research tools and willingness to learn new systems
Maintain professionalism and strict client confidentiality
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and contribute to a collaborative team culture
Qualifications & Experience
Completed or undertaking a law degree, or other relevant legal studies
Experience in a legal, professional services, or administrative support environment
Exposure to immigration law or employer-sponsored visa programs (desirable)
Experience using case management systems such as Migration Manager (desirable)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general digital literacy
