The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Google Ads Specialist that just can't get enough, with a hustle mentality. An analytic mind that is ready to help us achieve world domination.

King Kong turns generalists into specialists, if you've discovered an undeniable passion Google AdWord campaigns and want to dive deeper into the mythical land of their algorithms and come out sword held high, a world-class Paid Media Specialist capable of achieving unheard of results - then this role is your dream come true!

As a Google Ads Specialist you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client pay-per-click campaigns from creation, including strategy, campaign build, campaign monitoring and optimisation.

You'll also be required to provide insights to improve their website and landing page conversion rates. All this work will focus on driving the maximum number of conversions at the lowest acquisition cost possible.

What you'll do:

  • Setup, manage and optimise campaigns using Google Adwords.
  • Scrutinise analytics to identify areas of opportunity and utilise conversion rate optimisation tactics to squeeze as much ROI as humanly possible out of each dollar spent.
  • Create standout Google Tag Lines that promote curiosity and enticement.
  • Write effective direct response ad copy that sells.
  • Manage landing pages and websites to install conversion code and tracking pixels.
  • Communicate effectively with and educate Account Managers who will relay to clients the strategies of your campaigns.
  • Be invested in each client's business as though it were your own.
  • Prepare performance analysis reports and make recommendations for corrective modifications with a view to ongoing optimisation.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse to identify opportunities within paid media for the benefit of both King Kong and their clients.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years experience building and running AdWords campaigns.
  • Experience with Google Analytics.
  • Google AdWords & Analytics certified.
  • Understanding of email marketing systems (MailChimp or similar).
  • Hunger to stay up-to-date in the fast changing environment.
  • Willing to try new strategies.
  • Data-driven and analytical.
  • Capable of managing time effectively to ensure all clients receive a high quality of care.
  • Experience with Photoshop is a PLUS.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager is a PLUS.
