The Overview.
ACCIONA delivers some of Victoria's largest and most complex civil infrastructure projects across transport, water and power distribution. Our Victorian business manages a multi-billion-dollar portfolio that continues to grow in scale and complexity. The pipeline includes long-term programs of work that demand disciplined delivery, strong governance, and a clear commercial focus. You will step into a business with established client relationships, proven capability and significant future opportunity across the state.

About the Opportunity / Position
As Regional Operations Manager, you will set the operational strategy for ACCIONA's Victorian civil portfolio and drive consistent delivery across multiple major projects. Reporting to the General Manager and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead Project Directors and delivery leaders to lift safety, program, commercial and stakeholder outcomes. You will shape how the region plans, resources and governs work, bring data-driven insight to decisions, and hold a clear mandate to implement the systems and standards needed for high performance.

What are the key accountabilities for the position?

  • Set regional operations strategy aligned to business targets
  • Drive safety leadership and a zero-harm culture across all sites
  • Strengthen commercial performance, cash flow and risk control
  • Lead planning, resourcing and delivery governance for projects
  • Build capability in Project Directors and construction leaders
  • Maintain strong client, JV and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure work-winning support, mobilisation and portfolio readiness

Required Skills and Competencies

What Capability & Experience will you need to have:

  • Senior leadership within civil or major infrastructure
  • Track record leading multiple large projects or regional portfolios
  • Strong commercial, contract and risk management skills
  • Proven ability to lead leaders and lift team performance
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction or similar
