Job Description

About Role: 

The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) provides strategic clinical leadership and operational governance to drive high-quality, trauma-informed patient care, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and foster a safe, collaborative environment for both consumers and staff. As a senior member of our clinical team, you will review, plan, oversee and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Deputy Director of Clinical Services.

The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) role requires clinical expertise, ability to plan in a rapidly changing environment and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide a high level of quality service and care to our patients.
 

About You
To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge. You will hold a passion for patient care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum three (3) years’ nursing experience
  • Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Management and/or team leader experience working in large inpatient medical ward services would be an advantage.
