Job Description

What you’ll be doing

As Marketing Manager, B2B, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of customer marketing for automotive dealers, while supporting selected programs across our Industry and Leisure verticals.

Sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution, you’ll turn business, product and marketing priorities into clear, coordinated campaigns, communications, events and customer engagement activity.

Working closely with Product Marketing and Growth Marketing, you’ll help bring SaaS products and capabilities to market, shape the dealer contact strategy and ensure customer activity is connected, relevant and commercially effective.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced B2B marketer who can lead complex projects and move comfortably between planning and delivery: from developing briefs and shaping messaging to managing agencies, coordinating stakeholders and driving work through to completion.

  • Lead end-to-end integrated B2B campaigns, from scoping and briefing through to execution, measurement and optimisation
  • Partner with Product Marketing to bring SaaS products and capabilities to market through clear customer-facing campaigns and communications.
  • Lead the dealer customer contact strategy in collaboration with Product Marketing and Growth Marketing.
  • Maintain oversight of dealer-facing touchpoints to ensure messages, campaigns, events and communications are consistent and support the broader carsales for Business positioning.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple teams, dependencies, and channels.
  • Turn business and customer needs into effective marketing responses, consolidating related activity into broader campaigns where it will create greater impact.
  • Manage creative, media, event and other agency partners, alongside internal specialist teams, to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Manager, support the delivery of sponsorships, customer engagement programs, industry forums and trade shows.
  • Use customer, campaign and commercial data to guide planning, identify opportunities and improve performance.
  • People management, setting clear priorities and supporting them to deliver high-quality work.
  • Remain actively involved in execution, including briefs, shaping communications, reviewing creative and progressing delivery where required.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in B2B, product or go-to-market marketing, ideally in technology, SaaS or another fast-moving environment.
  • Strong experience leading integrated B2B campaigns and customer programs from planning through to delivery and optimisation.
  • Commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge a brief, identify the real customer or business need and recommend the right marketing response.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to turn strategy into clear priorities and keep multiple workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines moving.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex product or business information for customers.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach — comfortable making decisions, solving problems and taking ownership through to completion.
  • Experience managing agencies, internal delivery partners and junior team members.
  • A self-starting mindset and a willingness to take ownership. You identify what needs to happen, bring structure to ambiguity and follow work through to completion.

We know not everyone will meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If you’re excited about the role and believe you can make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
