We’re looking for a commercially driven Marketing & E-Commerce Manager to lead our Australia and New Zealand business. This is a pivotal role responsible for delivering revenue growth, elevating the customer experience, and building a high-performing marketing function that consistently exceeds expectations.
Reporting to the Commercial Director AU/NZ, this full time role owns the e-commerce performance across AU/NZ, ensures revenue targets are achieved while strengthening brand presence and customer engagement. This role is based at our Head Office in Tullamarine, Victoria.
Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Own digital channel performance to deliver revenue, conversion and AOV targets, and optimise the website experience
Act as the key liaison with Global HQ, providing market insights to guide strategy, demand planning, and investment decisions.
Manage the marketing P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and adjusting spend based on performance and market conditions.
Deliver regular performance reporting and insights to inform local and global stakeholders.
Develop and execute the annual marketing plan, driving brand growth through local campaigns across key channels.
Lead product launches and lifecycle management, including pricing, promotion, and merchandising.
Ensure all marketing activity complies with AU/NZ regulations and brand guidelines.
Manage strategic partnerships and agency relationships to deliver strong commercial outcomes.
Lead and develop the marketing team while collaborating cross-functionally with key business stakeholders.
To be considered, you should possess:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
A minimum of five (5) years’ marketing / e-commerce experience
A minimum of two (2) years' management experience
Proven experience in product marketing, preferably in the car rental or related industry
Proficient in marketing tools and platforms, such as Salesforce or similar CRM
Familiarity with product management methodologies and principles
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed marketing decisions
Passion for understanding customer behaviour and finding innovative ways to enhance the customer journey
Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
