MARKETING ACTIVATION SPECIALIST

OUR ROLE

As the Marketing Activation Specialist for Fiskars, you will play a key role in championing our brand in the Australia and New Zealand markets. With a strong focus on instore excellence (on- and offline), our mission will be to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Fiskars' global vision while tailoring it to resonate with local audiences. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will drive brand and business growth through creative and impactful campaigns and instore executions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment, where you will collaborate with global stakeholders, including central brand and marketing teams and local sales management, to deliver compelling brand experiences. This position can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia and reports to our interim Head of Marketing, Maaike Brink. The role is full-time and hybrid.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute local marketing activation plans to drive business and brand growth, aligning with central guidance and global strategies.

  • Support local business development by identifying growth opportunities and optimizing ROI through effective marketing initiatives.

  • Ensure brand consistency and excellence in execution across all consumer and shopper touchpoints, including secondary promotional displays.

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to create and analyse in-store campaigns and promotions, ensuring maximum impact.

  • Support new product development (NPD) launches and execution, in alignment with FOD guidelines and local market needs.

  • Strengthen relationships with key customers and support business development through retailer events and trade fairs.

  • Partner with the Media Tower team to manage local media campaigns, including retailer-specific and generic media, and oversee influencer collaborations.

  • Owns local PM budget allocations.

  • Locally responsible for trade (sell-in) decks, brochures, POS materials, etc.

  • Management of selected local websites CMS.

  • Supports Sales and be the marketing contributor for product related initiatives e.g. range rationalizations.

WHO YOU ARE

Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or Management.

  • 3-5 years’ experience with a focus on shopper marketing execution/Trade marketing. 

  • Understanding of (digital and physical) shopper marketing and marketing efficiency in a multichannel environment.

  • Understanding and experience of (international) branded consumer goods business and trade.

  • Proven track record of formulating marketing plans to drive results for a consumer brand. 

  • Strong commercial outlook and an ability to drive revenue growth through marketing activities.

  • Well organized with a can-do-approach to getting things done, walk the talk.
