The Information Security Team plays a critical role in enabling UniSuper's Technology and Delivery Strategy by delivering secure, resilient and innovative services and platforms. We partner closely with stakeholders across the business to simplify processes, enhance digital capabilities, manage strategic change and deliver technology outcomes that improve operational efficiency, strengthen cyber resilience and support member growth. Through the delivery of enterprise initiatives and modern technology capabilities, we help position UniSuper for continued success in an increasingly digital and rapidly evolving environment.
Lead a talented team to improve the identity and access capabilities that protect our members, employees and business services.
The role
You will lead the strategy, architecture and operations of identity and access services across UniSuper, ensuring secure and seamless access for members, employers and employees. You will manage a team of specialists and engineers to deliver modern identity capabilities aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Furthermore, you will:
- Lead the Identity and Access Management strategy, roadmap and operating model
- Manage identity governance, lifecycle processes and access certification
- Implement and improve privileged access and authentication capabilities
- Coordinate governance for service accounts, APIs, bots and machine identities
- Monitor identity risks, controls, compliance measures and operational performance
- Coach and develop a high-performing team of specialists and engineers
About you
You are an experienced identity and access management leader who can manage complex priorities, communicate clearly and motivate a technical team. You bring strong analytical and decision-making skills, along with deep knowledge of contemporary identity architecture, governance and authentication. In addition, you will have:
- Proven IAM leadership experience in a highly regulated industry
- Experience delivering IAM transformation and cloud identity modernisation
- Deep knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP and identity federation
- Experience with Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk and Microsoft Entra ID
- Strong knowledge of threat modelling methodologies, including STRIDE and MITRE ATT&CK
- A relevant degree, with CISSP, CISM or identity certification highly desirable
