This is a role where you own the operational integrity, drive continuous improvement, and act as the critical strategic anchor between a Melbourne corporate headquarters and an offshore shared services engine.

Based in our Melbourne CBD office, you will step into the heart of Probe CX. We are a global customer experience (CX) and BPO leader focused on creating environments where digitally-enabled CX thrives.
While your primary focus is driving financial operational excellence for Probe CX, you will be part of a broader, multi-disciplinary ecosystem that includes Innovior (our enterprise-scale digital transformation and intelligent automation arm) and Convai (our cutting-edge Voice AI and conversational solutions business). This gives you the backing of a modern, forward-thinking corporate group that sits at the intersection of human capability and advanced technology.
Why This Role is Different: The Intrinsic Drivers
True Ownership & Visibility: Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you are the primary operational leader bridging our Melbourne Head Office and our highly capable Philippines Finance Shared Services team. You aren't micromanaged; you are trusted to govern end-to-end finance transactions across our global entities.
A Modern Tech Stack: We have invested heavily in our technology architecture. You will routinely leverage and optimize premium tools like NetSuite, Adaptive, and Blackline to automate workflows and minimize error rates.
Broad Commercial Exposure: This isn't a narrow accounting box. You will manage group cash flow, oversee treasury and foreign exchange (FX) exposure, organize hedges, and orchestrate complex corporate insurance renewals.
Leadership that Matters: You will lead, coach, and elevate our offshore shared services team, steering daily coordination to ensure key performance indicators and service level agreements are met with excellence.
The Day-to-Day Scope
Your focus will center on four core pillars:
Transactional Governance: Overseeing the integrity of AP, AR, and GL modules globally, acting as the ultimate escalation and approval point for vendor bills and transactions.
Financial Controls & Fraud Prevention: Authorizing vendor setups, reviewing weekly and monthly payment runs, and managing corporate credit card compliance.
Treasury & Banking Relations: Managing bank mandates in alignment with our Delegation of Authority matrix, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions to optimize surplus funds.
Month-End & Audit Excellence: Managing the month-end close timetable, certifying balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, and acting as a primary liaison for interim and year-end audits.
What You Bring to the Team
You are a qualified finance leader who balances deep technical competence with exceptional communication skills. You know how to build strong relationships with internal Heads of Cost Centres just as easily as you collaborate with external auditors or offshore teams.
Your background likely includes:
A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, backed by a professional CA or CPA certification.
A minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in senior finance managerial roles.
Proven experience navigating complex, multi-entity/cross-jurisdictional functions and managing offshore or shared services teams.
Strong hands-on proficiency with ERP systems (ideally NetSuite), financial reporting tools (Adaptive Planning), expense management platforms (Concur), and balance sheet reconciliation tools (Blackline).
