The role

 

This role is accountable for leading a team of data and analytics specialists to deliver valuable and consumable insights that support business objectives. You will provide end-to-end leadership across reporting, data models, visualisations, and analytics, ensuring best practice execution.

 

 

  • Coach and mentor a team to translate business needs into data-driven insights that support decision-making
  • Lead the development of high-quality reports, data models, and visualisations that are accurate and usable
  • Build a collaborative team culture that encourages problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Partner with stakeholders to provide insights that mitigate risk, support compliance, and drive operational excellence
  • Manage delivery priorities and ensure work aligns with data strategy and platform requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic programs and uplift insights capability

 

 

About you

 

You are an experienced analytics leader who can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and build strong stakeholder relationships. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

 

  • Experience leading a small team with diverse skills and capabilities
  • Advanced ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with clear and concise communication
  • Advanced capability in data visualisation and data modelling
  • Experience with tools such as SQL Server, Power BI, Python and Azure Databricks
  • Strong understanding of MarTech platforms, including customer data platforms, digital analytics, marketing automation and personalisation.
  • Able to translate customer and marketing data into strategic recommendations that improve customer experience and business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of insights best practices including requirements gathering, QA, and release management
