Location: Melbourne, Australia (Hybrid)

A role you will love
This is a dynamic, strategic yet hands-on role where you’ll shape, create and deliver impactful internal and change communications. Sitting within our Internal Communications team, you’ll play a critical role in keeping the business connected, informing and engaging employees while protecting and promoting our brand.

You’ll lead internal communications for our global Plans and Communication Services (CCS) business areas, partnering closely with senior leaders to develop and execute compelling communications plans and content. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to global internal communications campaigns and drive regional communications across APAC, particularly in Australia and Hong Kong.

Working across geographies, cultures and channels, you’ll deliver high-quality communications that resonate globally and locally, and step in to support during incidents or crises when needed, making this a varied, visible and highly impactful role.

What will you bring to the role?

Confidence and proven experience of at least five years within the internal communications with a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery. You’ll have experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver clear, engaging and impactful communications that drive connection and business outcomes. You’ll bring a track record of delivering high-quality content across multiple channels.

  • Strategic and hands-on delivery – Able to plan and execute end-to-end communications, from strategy through to content creation of news articles, email updates, events and town halls. Skilled in creating timely, engaging communications aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Leadership and influence – Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, provide sound advice and confidently guide senior leaders; ability to build strong relationships across the wider business.
  • Strong technical and communication expertise – Advanced MS Office skills (including SharePoint) with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading ability; confident creating engaging, on-brand content including presentations and written communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – Clear, engaging communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences at all levels.
  • Problem-solving mindset – Able to manage multiple priorities, apply creativity and innovation, and navigate complex communication challenges with strong project and time management skills.
  • Global and regional perspective – Comfortable working in a global, virtual environment, including some out-of-hours collaboration. Experience working across geographies, cultures and time zones; an understanding of communications in Asia is an advantage.
