Job Description

Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Human Resources Student to join our HR department on a full-time basis for 12-months commencing February 2025. Part-time options may be considered.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our HR team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include: 

  • Coordinating and actioning end-to-end student recruitment including drafting of job advertisements, shortlisting, screening, pre-employment checks, preparing and extending offers, employment agreements, and completing applicable administrative processes, with support from the Business Partners and Recruitment team.
  • Overseeing the group induction, lifecycle, and exit process for all Students, including coordination of interim and exit surveys, documenting and communicating results to the responsible HR Business Partner and Employee Experience partner, identifying trends/improvement areas where applicable. 
  • Supporting the HR team across Learning & Development, Business Partnering, Recruitment and Management topics and projects as required.
  • Coordinating the Students@Bosch program, with coordination of regular meetings and student development activities.
  • HR Project, could include a range of HR topics focusing on the Students interest with full ownership of the project.
  • Supporting project activities as required by the Business Partners, Learning & Development, and Management teams.
  • Maintaining student employee records including monitoring of commencement and completion dates, probation, extension and change activities.
  • Gaining exposure to all aspects of HR by working with various HR professionals.

Qualifications

You will have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines and work well within a professional team. 

To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in and completing units towards a Business/Commerce (or similar) Undergraduate degree. Preferably with a major or a minor in Human Resource Management.
  • Proficient (at least intermediate level) in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills including communication, presentation, task management and listening skills.
  • Have previous work experience, especially in a team or professional environment.
  • Demonstrate a process improvement mindset and take initiative to find new solutions and ways of doing things.
  • An aptitude for going above and beyond for stakeholders.
  • Have experience in working across multiple priorities and managing multiple tasks at once.
