About the role:

We currently have a number of positions available for experienced graphic designers based in our National Support office in Burnley.

The role of our Graphic Designer here at Bunnings is to interpret briefs from the marketing team and creative agencies, and visually communicate ideas and messages through creative design. This includes defining the requirements of the brief, visualising and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, typography and photography treatment to effectively convey information and enhance brand identity.

This role will help shape the visual aspects of websites, advertising content, magazines, product packaging and in-store graphics to deliver finished artwork files for final print and digital production and more.

Who we're looking for:

You need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. You also need to be able to communicate well and work as part of a team to achieve the outputs required across a range of marketing teams to required timelines.

You’ll need:

  • You are currently an experienced graphic designer (minimum 2 years)
  • You have experience with workflow and project management software and are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • For roles supporting our catalogue you will need experience using Ezy Catalog or another data publishing solution and you will be able to work closely with stakeholders to resolve design challenges tactically
  • For our designer roles you will need a high level of proficiency particularly in After Effects and a high level of motion graphics skills. Demonstrated experience delivering cross-media marketing campaigns is also needed.

You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.

Bunnings strives to ensure everyone is treated fairly and our team are committed to supporting you at any stage of your recruitment journey. Be sure to let us know if you require an adjustment and we can provide the most appropriate support for you. If you have the experience, skills and a passion to grow but don't necessarily nail every single point in the job description, please still apply. Contact us at [email protected] and a member of the team will be in touch.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
