Senior Product Designer - Design Systems

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to focus specifically on Design Systems to join our Creative team and help with a number of projects working on some cutting-edge products in the online gaming and live-streaming industry. You will work within a small Design Systems team of 3 which forms part of a larger Creative team of 32. This team is one of many across Easygo and will see you join a workforce of 500+ passionate individuals, who are changing the game when it comes to the future of online entertainment.

You will play a critical role in shaping the design language and infrastructure that powers our web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a best-in-class user experience across our platforms. Working at the intersection of design and engineering, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain a robust system that enhances efficiency, accessibility, and usability.

As a senior team member, you will also drive strategic initiatives, mentor designers, and champion design system adoption across the organization. This role requires a balance of hands-on design expertise, technical knowledge, and the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels.

What you will do:

  • Create, maintain, and evolve a comprehensive Design System that aligns with Easygo’s brand identity and user experience guidelines
  • Ensure consistency and cohesion across all digital products by establishing reusable UI elements and maintaining a unified design language
  • Develop and refine comprehensive documentation to support implementation, governance, and education around the Design System
  • Mentor and support designers in best practices for utilising the Design System, running workshops, and fostering a culture of design system thinking
  • Champion the adoption and integration of the Design System across product teams, ensuring alignment between designers, developers, and product managers
  • Work closely with engineering teams to bridge design and development, ensuring smooth implementation and iterative improvements to the Design System
  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring design system components meet WCAG standards and create seamless experiences for all users
  • Audit and enhance existing design systems, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with evolving product and business needs.
  • Conduct regular reviews and testing of design system components to maintain high-quality standards and usability.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.

What you will bring: 

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, UI design, or design systems, with a proven track record in building and scaling design systems
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, tokens, and design libraries, with experience implementing systems in complex web and mobile applications
  • Strong technical understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) to facilitate seamless design-engineering collaboration
  • Proven leadership in driving design system adoption, influencing product and engineering teams to align with design best practices
  • Experience implementing and governing design systems at scale, ensuring cross-team consistency and efficiency
  • Deep understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards and experience in designing for inclusive digital experiences
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to advocate for design system best practices and articulate decisions effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for refining workflows, improving efficiency, and enhancing collaboration within product teams

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Degree in Interaction Design, or relevant work experience
  • Ability to showcase and demonstrate your design systems work, including design system components, style guides, and documentation
