The role:
If you are an events professional with a couple of years experience and an interest in communictions and marketing meaningful experiences, this is your opportunity to join a high-performing team that shapes the future of medical education.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of how we bring our marketing and education programs to life - working on nationally recognised events, partnering with industry experts, and gaining hands-on experience from day one.

What you will do:

  • End-to-End Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and deliver a diverse range of marketing events and meetings

  • Collaborate with Industry Leaders: Work closely with Product and Marketing Managers, as well as external partners, to deliver high-quality events that drive engagement and meet organisational goals.

  • Own Venue & Vendor Management: Research venues, conduct site visits, liaise with vendors, and support contract negotiations.

  • Manage Budgets & Timelines: Create and maintain event timelines, task lists, and budgets. You’ll monitor progress, solve problems proactively, and keep everything on track.

  • Use Leading Event Technology: Build registration sites, websites, surveys, and comms using our event management platform (e.g., CVENT). Full training provided.

  • Coordinate Event Logistics: Handle travel bookings, group accommodation, transfers, and onsite logistics—always ensuring compliance with company standards.

  • Drive Communications: Draft and execute communication plans, including invitations, reminders, event updates, and post-event feedback.

  • Support Continuous Improvement: Analyse event feedback and identify opportunities to refine and elevate future experiences.

What you need:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, or project management.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Budget management experience and understanding of event logistics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.

  • Familiarity with compliance guidelines for healthcare professional (HCP) interactions.

  • Advanced skills in event technology platforms and digital communications tools.

  • Strong negotiation skills for vendor and contract management.

  • Experience managing large-scale conferences or multi-day events.

  • Ability to analyze event feedback and implement process improvements.

  • Demonstrated initiative in supporting process improvement projects or team initiatives.
